Paddington class literacy news…

Paddington Class are thoroughly enjoying our new theme ‘Who’s in the forest?’.

So far, we have looked at two stories Goldilocks and the three bears and Jack and the beanstalk. We are introducing a new story next week…it’s one of my favourites. I will give you a clue ‘I’ll huff and puff and….’ Have you guessed it yet?

We have started to look at the characters in our stories and have been using adjectives to describe them. Can you add a comment describing what the giant looks like?

You will be awarded one dojo point for commenting 🙂

Well done for another great week in Paddington class- keep up the hard work!

  1. Chloe said ‘the giant has big pointy ears and has no hair on his head, he has hair on his hands and a big nose, he is wide and very tall’.

  2. Finlay say ‘the giant has green eyes, an angry face and two teeth that stick out. He has a red soft jacket with four pockets. He is massive!’

  3. The giant has a bald head and really, really pointy ears. His big green eyes are really bright and watch you wherever you go. He is enormous and very scary.

  4. Wow! Year 2 thank you so much for your thoughts on our blog!
It is great to see you commenting!

I wonder if you can remember your time in Year 1. What was your favourite fairy tale?
    Keep up the good work!

  5. I hope that they enjoy this book as much as I did when I was little. Nathaniel has been telling me about how much he enjoys the book and what activities he has been doing with his class. I hope that they have a fun time learning about the wonders of Jack and the beanstalk and goldilocks and the three bears.
